Dawnia Marie was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and raised in Inglewood, CA. After earning her degree in Business Administration from NCCU and a Master’s in Corporate Finance and Project Management, her life changed in 2006 when she was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis. Rather than questioning God, Dawnia chose to trust His purpose. Her faith became her strength, transforming her pain into purpose and her journey into a testimony. Through her work with the National MS Society, she’s been featured in national campaigns, served as a District Activist Leader, and founded MS Youngsters, a support group for teens and young adults with MS. Honored as Inspirational Person of the Year and Volunteer Inspiration Award recipient. Served on the Advisory Board for We Are Ill and the Care Partner steering committee for iConquerMS, providing strategic guidance and advocacy for community and research initiatives. Dawnia continues to uplift others with her unwavering faith and radiant spirit.
