Empowering Kids, Teens, and Young Adults with MS

Camp participants will acquire knowledge about Multiple Sclerosis and related demyelinating diseases. They'll learn how to educate others through practical demonstrations and gain disability awareness through purposeful activities. Attendees will also explore topics such as medication adherence, nutrition, exercise, self-advocacy, and independence.

The camp fosters relationship and community building among teenagers nationwide (and worldwide), encouraging them to engage in activities, sharing, and personal growth. Lifelong friendships often emerge as the most cherished takeaway from the camp experience.

Whether reuniting with familiar faces from previous camps or meeting new friends, participants will forge enduring bonds while learning to navigate life with MS. The camp environment allows both teens and adults to form special connections without needing to explain their illness constantly, enabling them to focus on enjoying activities, building relationships, and learning together.

Oscar’s Buddy Bash

Join us for Mr Oscar Monkey’s Ohio or California Buddy Bash as we empower families to navigate a chronic demyelinating disease. Life with a chronic illness is complicated and often scary. The crew at Mr Oscar Monkey recognize all members of the family as each persons’ role is important and each person has a voice at the table. Parents, siblings, and grandparents, are all members of the support team and we believe communication and information empowers advocacy, empathy, and independence.
