Join us for a Resource Reception for the Mr Oscar Monkey community as we empower our young people to step into “adulthood” with confidence. Navigating the newness of life without parents is challenging even without a chronic illness. Life with a chronic illness, life is just that much more complicated and can be scary. The crew at Mr Oscar Monkey begin training youth and teens to learn about their diagnoses, and how to manage it, from the earliest of ages. We believe information is power and it empowers advocacy and independence.
